Snag Golf

Over the last two weeks we have had 2 Snag Golf lessons from AJ, who teaches golf out at a golf club. He brought along lots of amazing equipment for us to use. We learnt how to hold a golf club, how to chip, how to drive and how to putt.

Programming Bots

As part of our new 'Digital Curriculum' we learnt how to programme bots (which really were toys) to make them move to a special place. Toni was our expert and came and taught us how to do this.
We had a large plastic grid on which were squares. We put a large toy on the square. We then had to use arrows to make a programme a person ' Bot' had to follow to get to the square. It was tricky and we needed to try and see if our programme would work. If it didn't we had to debug (rub out our arrows) and start again, fixing our mistakes.

'Me Bags'

We had a lovely time sharing our 'Me Bags' with our class. We needed to choose 3 things from home that were special and put them in a bag and bring to school. Then we had to tell the class about them and why they were special to us. Then we answered questions. We had to use confident, loud voices.

Welcome to Room 21

Welcome to our lovely class of Room 21.

We have had a great start to our year by dressing up for Art Deco weekend.
And here we are trying to take a funny selfie!
